📣🦅 Updated Car Rider Procedures for the 2026-2027 School Year 🦅📣

To help keep arrival and dismissal safe and efficient for all students, please review our updated AM and PM Car Rider Maps before the first day of school.

🌞 Morning Drop-Off

🚗 All vehicles must:
• Enter via Codell St.
• Line up along Elkhart Dr.
• Enter campus at Federal St.

📍 Please remember:
• The East Bay parking lot is one-way only, with vehicles entering and exiting via Federal St.
• Students may not be dropped off in the parking lot or along surrounding streets.
• Students must be dropped off at the front of the school in the designated car rider line.
• Do not release students before 7:45 a.m.
• When directed by staff, please have your child exit promptly to help keep traffic moving.

🌇 Afternoon Pick-Up

Elementary Pick-Up
🚗 Enter via Codell St. and line up along Elkhart Dr. Vehicles will enter campus at Fairmont St.

Middle School Pick-Up
🚗 Enter campus at Federal St., take the first right, and line up at the stop sign. The middle school line will begin merging at 2:35 p.m.

👨‍👩‍👧 If you are picking up both an elementary and a middle school student, please join the middle school line.

⚠️ Important Reminder: For everyone's safety, all adults must remain in their vehicles while in the car rider line. If your child needs assistance buckling their seatbelt, please pull into a parking space before helping them.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work together to keep arrival and dismissal safe and efficient for all of our Eagles. We know the first few days may take a little extra time as everyone settles into the routine, and we appreciate your support!

An aerial photograph of East Bay K-8 showing the morning car rider traffic pattern. Yellow arrows illustrate the one-way traffic flow. Vehicles enter from Codell Street, line up along Elkhart Drive, enter campus from Federal Street beginning at 7:45 a.m., loop through the front of the school for student drop-off, continue through the parking lot in a one-way pattern, and exit campus. The map notes that all grades use the same morning drop-off route.
An aerial photograph of East Bay K-8 showing the afternoon car rider traffic pattern. Yellow arrows indicate the elementary pick-up route entering from Codell Street and Fairmont Street. Blue arrows indicate the middle school pick-up route entering from Federal Street, turning right, and lining up beginning at 2:35 p.m. The map clearly identifies where each line forms and how traffic flows through campus for dismissal.

The flyer includes several ways to access transportation information:
• MyRide K-12 mobile app

🌊🤖🦅 East Bay Students Competing at the International SeaPerch Competition! 🦅🤖🌊 Please join us in congratulating Emmett B. and Reid H. from Mrs. Rushing’s STEAM class, who are currently representing East Bay K-8 at the 2026 International SeaPerch Competition at the University of Maryland! 🎉 SeaPerch challenges students to design, build, and operate their own underwater Remote-Operated Vehicle (ROV) while applying engineering, teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. This year’s mission focused on Storm Response, requiring students to complete a series of underwater tasks and navigate a timed obstacle course. East Bay had three teams compete at the regional competition hosted by the University of West Florida, with Emmett and Reid’s team earning the opportunity to advance to the international level. 🌎 We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and innovation. Whether in the classroom, the workshop, or the pool, these students have demonstrated what it means to be an East Bay Eagle. 💙🦅 Good luck to Emmett and Reid as they compete against teams from around the world this weekend! We are cheering you on from East Bay! #EastBayEagles #SeaPerch #STEM #STEAM #FutureEngineers #EastBayProud #GoEagles #InternationalCompetition
